


H. Carter Leak
Carter Leak IV, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of St. Francisville, has been with the bank since 2014. Prior to returning to St. Francisville to help his father run the bank, he spent 13 years with CB&I (formerly the Shaw Group). There he served in multiple capacities, including Controller for the company’s Plant Services segment in Baton Rouge and later in Charlotte, N.C., where he was Vice President and Controller in the Engineering, Construction and Maintenance division. Prior to joining Shaw he served a wide array of businesses and industries at KPMG LLP, spending nearly 4 years within its financial audit practice.
As BSF’s President and CEO, he has led the charge in developing the right products and services to help customers achieve their financial goals which has resulted in a 350% growth in the bank’s loans and deposits over his tenure. Carter supports economic development that brings a diversity of housing options, recognizes the importance of maintaining an excellent public school system and believes in preserving the natural beauty of West Feliciana and the tourism economy that depends upon it.
Carter is a licensed Certified Public Accountant, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from LSU and is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He isa graduate of the Charlotte Leadership Forum.
Carter has continued to invest significant time mentoring young men and boys through his involvement with non-profit organizations including Young Life and Rotary International as well as through local sports programs and his church. He has represented West Feliciana on the Board of Directors of the Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of St. Francisville Area Foundation and is the former Chairman. He also serves as Chairman of Young Life Committee in West Feliciana Parish. He and his wife Brittany and their children Harrison, Mary Field, Madzy and Jack Samuel play constructive roles in the educational, spiritual, civic and economic life of their community.
